Cookie & Local Storage Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2026 · Version 1.0

01Cookies & local storage

“Cookies” are small files a website stores in your browser. “Local storage” is a similar browser technology that lets a site remember information between visits. Both are covered by EU rules (the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR): strictly necessary ones can be used without consent, while non-essential ones (analytics, advertising) need your prior consent.

02What Rennblock uses

Rennblock keeps things minimal:

WhatTypePurposeConsent?
Sign-in token Local storage (first-party) The session token (jwt) that keeps you logged in to the dashboard. Without it you would have to sign in on every page. Not required (strictly necessary)
Account details Local storage (first-party) Your upload key (api_token) and basic profile (username, plan tier, admin flag) so the dashboard works without re-fetching them on every page. Not required (strictly necessary)

We do not use these to track you across other websites, and we do not run advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

03Third parties

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but your IP address is technically visible to Google when the fonts load. See Google’s privacy information for details, or see our Privacy Policy.

04How to control it

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser’s settings, and block them entirely if you wish. Note that if you clear or block the strictly necessary session storage, the dashboard will not be able to keep you logged in.

05Changes

If we introduce non-essential cookies or tracking in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Questions? Email benghe.web@gmail.com.
